Le Don Hilton

Like many of Jersey’s landmarks, Le Don Hilton has it’s roots in our island defences.  Today however, it’s purpose is far more welcoming.  Whether you are flying into Jersey or sailing by on the ferry, this building is a standout landmark.  Apparently you can even hire it out as a wedding venue or for an overnight stay with the Jersey National Trust.  I have always known this quirky structure as the “little white house” and it’s one of my favourites just because it’s as cute as heck!  Let’s not even go into the time when it was painted green…

This print was my very first Rachey Bean Scene and was originally designed to fill a space on the wall where my son lives away from home.  Maybe you might like to buy a copy for a loved one who loves Jersey but for whatever reason lives far away.  It may bring them just a little bit closer to home.
