Corbiere Lighthouse

Corbiere or Cor-blimey?  As lighthouses go this one's a beaut.  When the tides out and the timings right you can walk across to see this landmark up close.  If rock pooling's your thing then there's plenty to explore at low tide here.  Visitors to Jersey flock to this site and for good reason as this is where the sun sets, making it picture postcard perfect.  Just this last year, my daughter and I watched the most perfect summer solstice sunset as the sun dipped past the horizon ending the longest day.   Sometimes you can get a whippy ice cream here too which always gets my vote!
